TEN THIRTY TWO
Release notes.
2.0.4 · October 10, 2026
Choose video format and recording limit beside Record.
- Record includes Video format and Record limit, plus the existing battery, connection and Settings controls.
- Preferences save automatically and stay synchronized with Settings. Capture waits for successful saving; controls lock during recording.
- The console still fits one screen in portrait and landscape. Horizontal 720p or glasses default remain the available video format requests.
The app requests Stop at the selected limit while its background session remains active. Install 2.0.4 using the updated QR; website publication does not replace installed apps.
2.0.3 · October 10, 2026
Record, battery and connection on one screen.
- Record and Stop occupy the same central position, with the recording timer shown when active.
- The Record screen fits the viewport in portrait and landscape; photo capture, camera details and diagnostics are in Settings.
- Screen rotation adapts the controls. Video uses the glasses recording format; no unverified video orientation selector is included.
- Preserves the glasses camera commands and displays connection, permission and command errors.
Install 2.0.3 using the updated QR. Website publication does not update installed miniapps.
2.0.2 · October 10, 2026
A focused glasses camera app with Record and Settings.
- Removed the browser workspace, including Library, Search, Projects, microphone recording, import and playback controls.
- The app build contains only glasses camera controls, connection status, supported settings and diagnostics.
- Preserves the camera Start/Stop path, recovery journal and visible host errors.
Glasses videos are retained on the device and handled by Mentra Gallery. This app does not provide video browsing or playback. Install 2.0.2 using the updated QR; existing installed apps do not update automatically.
2.0.1 · October 10, 2026
Glasses recording opens first inside Mentra, following the earlier Recorder camera path.
- The default capture source inside Mentra is glasses video. Browser microphone recording is clearly labeled audio only.
- Handles a Mentra bridge that becomes available after the page loads.
- Preserves camera command and permission errors so they remain visible.
- Stops a known app recording even if camera availability changes.
- Removes unavailable live transcription and gallery-delete buttons.
- Explains where glasses videos are saved and how to import an exported copy.
Install the 2.0.1 test package from the current installation QR. The earlier 1.2.0 and 2.0.0 packages remain available. Automated regression tests pass; the glasses indicator and actual video transfer still need a physical device check.
2.0.0 · October 10, 2026
A local recording workspace, with a clearer distinction between your browser microphone and Mentra glasses.
- Record browser audio with pause, resume, duration, audio levels, bookmarks and an explicit Stop and save action.
- Audio chunks are saved progressively in IndexedDB. Interrupted sessions retain available chunks for recovery.
- Find recordings in Library and Search. Add titles, notes, tags, favorites and projects.
- Replay recordings, change speed, follow bookmarks and transcript timestamps, and preserve playback position.
- Import supported media, edit transcript text, and export files and notes. Print a session report using your browser’s PDF option.
- Mobile navigation, light and dark themes, larger touch controls, and a new Recorder icon.
- Existing camera controls, battery and connection information remain available through the Mentra runtime.
Storage and privacy
Browser recordings stay in this browser profile and are not automatically uploaded. Browser storage is not a permanent backup: export important recordings. Capture begins only after your action and microphone permission. Obtain any consent required for your recording.
Availability
Browser capture depends on the browser’s recording and storage support. Phone locking, background suspension and app termination can interrupt capture. Recovery preserves available data but cannot recreate audio that was never captured.
The updated glasses integration requires physical phone and glasses acceptance testing. Raw glasses audio recording, gallery deletion and native button remapping are not enabled. Local transcription remains disabled until the phone host’s local-only processing can be verified. Paid AI and cloud synchronization are not enabled.
Website publication does not update installed miniapps. Version 2.0.0 is a separate QR test package under Mentra’s current distribution workflow.
1.2.0 · September 30, 2026
Added supported camera start and stop acknowledgements, photo capture, requested video quality, field of view and camera aim, an app recording timer, battery and Wi-Fi status, and device diagnostics.
The original installation QR, manifest, package and app files are preserved. Existing links continue to use the same Recorder address.
